International Business
Students acquire knowledge of at least two foreign languages, are capable of comprehending basic economic terminology and principles connected with business-enterprising activities in a market economy. They also have knowledge in international business operations, means of conducting market research, and masters practical processes involved in international business and trade transactions. Knowledge and skills of communication techniques and social behaviour are based on principles in psychology and sociology. Other specific specialized subjects include, e.g., economics, finance, banking, international trade operations, quality control, international monitary relations, accounting, negotiation techniques, computer technology, marketing, management, legislative business codes and business correspondence.
Students also have the opportunity to select from a wide selection of optional subjects, i.e., conversation in alternate foreign languages as Russian, French, Arabian, Japanese and Chinese, applied economics, including guide services in the tourist trade.
Graduates are qualified to hold the following positions:

- well orientated with the principles of economic marketing, and knowledgeable in micro and macroeconomics
- analyzes the tax system in the Czech Republic, completes tax forms
- utilizes the principles of marketing in the tourist trade environment, utilizes advertising means
- utilizes statistical data in practical cases by means of computer technology
- utilizes knowledge of financial mathematics in all branches of tourist trade operations (calculations, percentage rates, exchange rates)
- completes project requests demonstrating acquired practical knowledge and skills
Animation in the tourist trade:
- demonstrates qualified skills in the creation of animation programs for the active, creative and cultural spending of leisure time
- utilizes art techniques and music in animation prograams

The Enterprising in the Tourist Trade major provides graduates with knowledge of economics and entreprenurialship in the tourist trade so that they are capable independent decision-making tasks, filling executive and professional positions in tourist companies at a regional level and are capable of individual enterprising activities within the European Union following their graduation.
The Animation in the Tourist Trade major provides graduates with the professional knowledge and skills for the creation of programs for leisure-time and recreation periods. This concerns developing skills for the active, creative and cultural utilization of leisure time in various age categories and environment.
